Early Fall Update

At this time of year we have to determine when to turn off the water. As the Indian Summer can continue on for a while, I talked with the landscaper to determine what would be the best course of action. I also asked for a turf builder/weed control fertilizer to end the year with.  Here is their response   

“I will dial back watering times with seasonal adjust control. Probably 10 minutes per zone is fine and let’s do 3 days/week. When the weather cools significantly or the rains return, we will turn off the water, drain the system, and contact the city to lock it.   

We will fertilize after mowing Tuesday. Gabriel is going to be pruning the first section (9400-9440 Durham side) today. “

As the leaves are beginning to fall, more time will be spent in the future dealing with them. Pruning will continue on the schedule they use.
